Join our team as we practice community care by offering Bystander Intervention Training at our office in Portland. Bystander skills are helpful for multiple reasons-- from de-escalating yourself in conflict, to helping you feel safe setting boundaries while alone on a trail, to speaking out when you witness bias in conversations, and many more!
Prevention. Action. Change. will be leading us through their Bystander Intervention Training, where participants will gain skills in grounding, identifying microaggressions, other topics to increase physical and emotional safety in everyday settings, and to build skills for interrupting and preventing harm.
The workshop cost is $15 per person. If cost is a barrier, free and sliding scale options are available. Contact Lindy, lindy@momentumconservation.org, with any questions.
